Shearer has some brass neck on him after his stint managing the Geordies.

At United they kick out FA Cup winning managers. At Everton Ten Hag would be set up for life here!

The FA Cup suffered a massive drop in status though, after that season when Man United refused to take part and prioritised that World Club Cup thing instead.

I wish Ten Hag had said that to Shearer after the game in his interview.

I agree - I thought he made a show of them.

United and ratcliffe are handling the situation terribly, I hope it backfires if they get rid of him.

The only things you can blame ten hag for is signing Anthony and his handling of Sancho (but he was being a little prick so…. ) the rest is on the club.

I thought it was a decent game actually

Not a classic, but far better than some of the bore fests and hammering’s we’ve had in recent years

I am a sucker for matches where a team with a punchers chance manages to catch a superior one though
