And will we make a stink in media about it like Klopp did after the Spurs game? Probably not...

But even if we did, it'll get like 30 seconds of airtime on Sky Sports...

And that's all we'll hear, compared to the 'Spursgate scandal'. They kept going on about it for 3 weeks after the game!
Pretty sure their stink was about a 100% incorrect offside ruling on a goal that would have put them 1-0 up and likely changed the outcome of the game altogether. Ours concerns a potential yellow card that would have evened up the number of players in a game in which we hadn’t had a shot on target since the first minute.

Not saying the decision (or lack of one) wasn’t crap, but trying to say our plight is similar to theirs is a bit disingenuous.

Convinced the majority of refs have never played the game even at an amateur level. Hand ball has to be deliberate or the game has gone to the proverbial

That is the problem. Deliberate handball no longer exists in the rules.

IMO, it still should be, plus, if an accidental handball leads to a goal. This brush off a finger = penalty is just stupid.

edit. The other way round ffs. A goal attempt is prevented by accidental.

Not disagreeing with you mate, but the point I'm trying to make is that whenever there's a bit of an injustice against us, we don't make really make a stink about it.

We'll be soft spoken and then quietly whimper away into the night... Which is a bit annoying because then no one really takes us seriously.

As they say: Nice guys finish last. 🤷‍♂️

I think our poor position owes more to general crapness than niceness.

I take your point, though. Plenty of managers - Mourinho in his pomp chief amongst them - used to use perceived mistreatment from officials to deflect attention from defeats and galvanise the troops. Would be good to see Dyche come out guns blazing but it’ll never happen.
