They have some decent individuals, he really is doing a poor job, just plays a straight 4-4-2 when most play a 4-3-3.

As for Simms, he was brought in as a sort of replacement for Gyokeres but it's not happening for him and he often looks the weakest link in that team. Good to see O'Hare on the scoresheet after his ACL injury, he is a quality midfielder him.

Watched a bit of yesterday's game. First time I've seen O'Hare. Looked really good.

I wonder how much Liam Rosenior was the brains behind Rooney's time at Derby.

He is one out of the Villa academy originally, just back from a bad ACL but when he is on his game he has the lot mate, score goals, get assists, pass, tackle. I reckon he would he had a move if it were not for that injury, he was on the radar for a few clubs.

Yeah the commentator last night said he was from Villa's academy and I assumed he was a young kid but when I looked I saw he was 25 already. Based purely on last night I'd say he still looks good enough for the PL.

Arguably one of the consummate Instinctive footballers I've ever seen. So 2 things at first glance occur to me.
He can't get it across - or they can't or won't listen...but it isn't that simple, there is no magic formula, many planets have to align.

Or he could be yet another in a line of very good players who can't coach...but it isn't that simple, there is...etc.
