There was a time when I would have said that was a "coming together" without intent. That all changed when I watched Argentina-Poland at the last World Cup. Szs, Ssyz, Szeszesny - the Polish goalkeeper - brushed a blind hand on the forehead of Lionel Messi...VAR gave the spot kick.

One can only surmise that VAR is deliberately designed to allow the authorities to manipulate the narrative, because it is as inconsistent as any two referees without technology ever could be.

Incredible how a keeper can escape punishment for bulldozing into players yet as soon as there is a hint of contact near a keeper when going for the ball - instant foul.

These refs and VAR can get in the bin once and for all. Not fit for purpose.

Help the teams they want to help. Screw the rest of them. Brighton last year was a very good example. They deserved more than they got, and a lot wasn’t even questionable unless you’re a referee

That graphic showing the bottom half of the table on MNF just then was surely wrong.. half of the teams that lost this weekend, including us, had a GD of 0.. lol
