I was surprised at Dortmund, should have been a lot more comfortable. Credit to the away team though, not even going to attempt at spelling their name, they did well and also took 7,000 fans!

As for Barcelona, wow.

This is why I can't fathom anyone caring about La Liga

The other teams have been raped and pillaged so badly by the Classico teams that it's become the equivilant of playing FIFA on amateur level as a ***** team against a * team

It might be fun once but it soon loses it's appeal

Sid lowe did an article about how literally every la liga team bar the big two have lost their best players.

And even with real and barca splashing the cash belgian clubs have spent more money this summer than spanish clubs.

Its only been since 2005 or 6 though that its been like this, before then the two sides were dominant but smaller teams could challenge them - Depor, that great Sociedad side, Bilbao, Atleti, Valencia and Sevilla.

What the "little" sides need to do is what del Nido wanted to do last season and just tell Madrid and Barcelona that their tv deal was being renegotiated, and if they didnt like it they can just **** off. Or just send out sides to maim.

I will watch El Clásico but that's about it.
I get what you're saying, Some of these games with Madrid and Barça can be a total mismatch To be fair Levante are obvious relegation candidates and Barça are what we know. I watched a pretty good game last night between Valladolid and Athletic Bilbao though.
