at least he didn't give the first one, umm, positives? you're not the first and won't be the last mate, when ref's start to grow wiser and realise that it won't be the rath of ferguson they'll be playing if they get a decision wrong, things may change

Guess he only became a bottler after not giving Evra a penalty and booking Young for diving?

Some good stuff from the commentator just now, people need to actually try and understand why refs give decisions they do rather than just making brain dead comments like "THE REF IS **** AND HE RUINED THE GAME".

The ref couldn't even see from his position to give that so called penalty so he completely guessed! If you don't know you can't give it and it wasn't a pen anyway so the ref is sh*te and has ruined the game! How is that a brain dead comment?

I know mate. It's astounding how rational we can be when it's not our team playing.

Refs "guess" 50/50 challenegs and coming togethers like that every game, doesn't matter if its 100% clear cut either way, they're there to judge incidents and apply the rules. He thought that was a foul, asked the lino for assistence but he couldn't help so gave the decision as he saw it : a foul in the penalty area.

Thats how football refereeing has worked for years. Its so easy to watch numerous replays and criticise the ref for being wrong without actually realising why the ref would have given the decision, doing so is just stupid and ignorant.

Doesn't matter if the ref got it wrong, they get decisions wrong every game, thats human nature and you cannot change that no matter how much you moan about it.
