refs constantly get them wrong as well. You can't jump without using your arms, if it accidently touches the opposition's face then that's just the way it goes. It's either a red for physical intent or nothing because it's accidental imo
Course refs get them wrong, they get one full speed chance to see the incident rather than numerous slow mo replays.
But Torres didn't jump up or use his arms as leverage, he jumed at Vertongen with his arm up. At full speed with 1 look it clearly looked like he jumped at the man rather than for the ball.
Perfectly understandable why the ref saw it as a yellow. Didn't look as bad on replys but ref didn't see them did he. As whoever is hosting just said, all 3 pundits in the studio thought it was a yellow at full speed but changed their mind after seeing replays.
