6 year contract.....assume he didnt take a paycut, that is at least £20m. Plus the £28m on Felli. Thats a very expensive 6 months if they pulled the trigger.

Cant see United falling for that.

Probably certain caveats that make it plain if he fell on his arse then compo would not be intolerable.

Next week they play at teatime they could be about 14th and go away to a team who will be bouncing with a new manager, probably Poyet. Also, they will get beat by Shakhtar midweek

They need a manger who is willing to change not play exactly the same team as the old manager every week.

Not really TBH. The starting 11 was well received, in the main. Sub at HT when 1 down.

It was more that the difference in performance levels of the team when SAF was in charge was exposed. Again.

And Utd were outplayed most of the game.

I was never in the 'Moyes Out' camp at all, but it was clear to see that we needed a change.

I just hope that Martinez can prove that he can do a better job than Moyes, that we didn't overachieve with one manager.

They should have gone for Laudrup while they had the time to introduce a new, relatively young, manager.

They'd have to go with the experienced man if Moyes got the bullet; the owners/fans wouldn't wear anything else.
