If they'd lost midweek it would be murder right now..
When the league table is shown later on MOTD it will show them in the bottom half, worse start since 89 etc.
it's lucky it's a wide open league to win this year..
And I can't wait until we throw our hat in the ring.. I'm not even joking now !

no team has really impressed at all yet. chelsea have looked a tad stale and have no goalscorer(he's at everton), spurs have been ok, but a couple of dodgy pens have given then wins in what should be easyish games, city have lost to cardiff and villa, arsenal got spanked 1st game of the season and have recovered since then, but you can sence a poor run of results are around the corner. RS have had a good start, but that's going to dissapear quickly (hence why i won my bet of them losing at home to saints)

we're unbeaten and seem to finally have a squad as opposed to a first XI and got rid of the manager who was holding us back by not going for victories that could prove the difference at the end of the season.

it'll be an enthralling season to say the least and the most open prem for years, even if i don't myself see past chelsea or city for the title myself. Top 7 could end in any order though.

united 1/2 not finishing top 4 on betfair

Really shows how pathetic and weak minded players/managers/refs/the footballing world in general can be that through force of personality alone Ferguson could intimidate people into not doing their jobs properly

United are turning into the Red ****e of the past 4 years No trophies and struggling for europe if they keep moyes in charge . Moyes found his level at everton no pressure and all he had to do is keep the steady ship . He will be gone by next decemeber , they need a quick fix . Mourihno isn't doing to well and if it carries on them roman might get bored and sell up . We could be seen a revolution of the league with arsenal spurs and city's as top 3 with us Chelsea Liverpool utd fighting for 4th and 5th

321 - and you're back in the room.

Haha.. Layed top 2 !

tried to put £50 last week laying them winning the title, no matter how low i went down, betfair wouldn't accept my offer ha.

they won't get close to top 2 ii don't think.

i really wanted to lay bet them top 4 at the start of the season, but just thought i may have been stupid and let my hatred of moyes shadow my judgement (after all, they did win the title by 11 points). The other factor that has me sitting on the edge is that if he does sacked early, a good manager could come in and turn it all around and then i'd look a right mug. I think, no matter how bad he does, the glazers won't get rid of him before this season's out, but then again, they aren't going to be scared of him. too many ifs to do the bet.

Moyes was actually never a good enough manager for Everton, let alone Manchester United in the current day.

What Moyes is and always will be is a phenomenal Director of Football who has an eye for talent, but he's never been able to use the talent he brings in effectively and/or consistently.

The problem at United is that his actual tactical limitation are thrown into sharp contrast because he cannot rely on his wheeler dealing alone to build his rep.

That he is failing at United isn't the surprise; the fact he got the job in the first place is.

Only just seen the results (been looking at wedding venues this arvo).

How very amusing.
