Well sh*t in my face.

Just when you think he can't say anything else stupid.

Hes not wrong tho is he.

On Adnan Januzaj: "He is a wonderful player, he is someone who we think a lot of. I have tried to get him in the team over the last few weeks but for various reasons it did not happen.

"He is a really good player, he can do most things and play in lots of different positions. He is a real talent. I gave Wayne Rooney and Ross Barkley their debuts at Everton and he is certainly in their category too."

Well that's different to what Mikey posted.

Walter Smith was the guy who brought Rooney in. Moyes was just the first guy to play him

It was Smith who took the chance on him

Just listening to Moyes taking credit for Barkley

KOFF Moyes. You never believed in him and you don't deserve any credit for him

NONE

[Poor language removed] you prick!

Ha Ha Ha.

Moyes is desperate to be associated with any success story to save his own skin.

I heard him say midweek (in an effort to quell the questioning of his appointment) that Alex Ferguson played his part in the decision to hire him. Hiding behind the former manager when he should be standing on his own two feet.

My prediction: he'll be with United for 18 months and win a League Cup or something, before being brushed out of the place as a bad idea.

Giving "possibly" the 2 biggest talents in the last 20 Years their debuts.

GREAT TALENT SPOTTING DAVID

I still feel justified in my opinion

He can take some credit, but the way he said it led me to believe that he was using it as an example of how great he was at bringing in young players when

A: Rooney was already there when he came along
and
B: Barkley's movement into the senior squad was "stop-start" under Moyes, and it wasn't until Martinez came in that he started getting a proper chance.

That's all I've got

It's all you need. I'm sure he's put a few professional noses out of joint with that comment too, just to get a rep.

Correct.

Came into the club and sold Rooney; Barkley comes through and he looks the real deal - punts him into the lower leagues.

The feller's a charlatan.

I knew from his final scabby and snide years at Everton he wasn't to be trusted; I didn't realise though what a desperate man he'd be to turn himself inside out and surrender his dignity just to hold onto that United job.

You live and learn.
