The endless hopeless crosses of Utd tonight, I always thought he did it with us because we were broke, can't believe he's at it at Utd, with Rooney and RVP.

He's a goner there just a matter of time.

To be fair they're not playing like Suarez and Sturridge who can turn defenders inside out. They need good service, sadly for United when you've got Valencia, Cleverly and Young supplying the ammunition you're always going to be in trouble.

Or try playing through the centre, I know what your saying mate but there all title winners and by some margin last season. It's about variance really, if you hit endless crosses it's not rocket science for the opposition to work out, you despair when he signs one of the best play makers in the world in Mata and prob the best no 10 in Rooney and he's telling his players to hit his wingers and stretch the full backs - "hit big Felli" I can hear it now!

all this divs in the media asking why british managers dont get the big jobs, bunch of dinosaurs who dont have a tactical thought in their head. That was classic moyes his tactics in away legs were always appaling, you should be looking to score away, a clean sheet at home is worth twice as much

I agree the crosses are painful to watch. Moyes playing style, or at least what he tried to develop with us was the full backs almost playing as wingers. Evra and Smalling just don't seem capable of giving him what Baines and Coleman did. Consequently you get an isolated Valencia drilling cross after cross into defenders shins or aimlessly into the box.

It's ridiculous to persist with this tactic, not sure how much choice he had tonight. TBH if I was him I'd have gone 4-5-1 with Fellaini and taken the wrath of being negative. At least they probably would have got a better result than 2-0.
