Better to open up promotion and relegation from the Conference properly, the current system as it is results in the somewhat odd state of affairs where the top half or so of the Conference is often markedly better than the bottom half of Division 2.

You can't possibly be in favour of condemning the likes of Portsmouth to extinction? Whether you like it or not these teams mean a lot to the local community.

Well if they are decent then they won't need to worry will they. I'd rather have England winning WC's mate.

It's a league 2 football match. What do you expect?

England not winning a World Cup has nothing to do with the standard of Chesterfield vs Portsmouth on a Monday night.

Well if Everton, Chelsea, City, United, Spurs, Swansea, Arsenal, Liverpool and all teams who play decent football have a B team they will learn a lot more playing the likes of these teams than playing in an U21 league. Are you thick?

Chesterfield don't deserve to get promoted if they are this bad.

Bit unnecessary.

If they're that bad how will the B teams learn so much by playing them?

playing infront of crowds etc. People think that B teams would just p*** the league. It clearly helps in development mate lets be honest. Have you seen where

Atleti B = Segunda B, 16th
Barca B = Segunda, 12th
RM B = Segunda, 17th

I think people get the idea that chelsea would play Salah and others there. Their would obv be a rule in place which stops this. The day England actually have a go at trying to develop decent players if the day I will support them. Sounds like a glory hunter but I don't mean it like that

I can't give you all the info and say it helps the player because...

Surley its upto the clubs to try and develop English players. We're not doing a bad job are we? Barkley for example. Not the FA's fault Chelsea would sooner plump £18m on a foreign bench warmer

Have you seen Spains U21 squad for tomorrow?

Goalkeepers: Kepa, Pacheco (Real Madrid Castilla).

Defenders: Carvajal (Real Madrid), Jordi Amat (Swansea), Derik (Real Madrid Castilla), Sergi Gómez (Barcelona B), Bernat (Valencia), Alberto Moreno (Sevilla).

Midfielders: Sergi Roberto (Barcelona), Isco (Real Madrid), Rubén Pardo (Real Sociedad, Denis Suárez (Barcelona B), Saúl Ñíguez (Rayo Vallecano).

Forwards: Morata (Real Madrid), Jesé, Muniain (Real Madrid), Sarabia (Getafe), Deulofeu (Everton).

That would have a good go vs England 1st team.

Who do we have?
Barkley? You can say Baines/Gerrard/Jagielka are all top players which they are but they don't do it for England. No-one does.
