Its one of the worst seasons ever in footballing terms, I can't recall a worst bunch of teams making up a top flight.

yes, i've said the same. as shown with the teams' performances in europe. there are a very small minority of genuine world class players in the prem atm. only about 6/7? i mean liverpool have a terrible squad of players, never mind first XI, but two good strikers who have been clinical and they're in second! one of their strikers is a chelsea reject and the other has never played for a good team yet. 5 years back and this liverpool team would be finishing where they were last season

My stepson once played for a team whose manager was blacker than Ian Wright. He (the manager) was talking to two black players in the team and got their names mixed up. It was so refreshing (and funny, especially as e had an infectious laugh) to hear him say to them "You black kids all look the same to me!"
