same as moyes tbh, you don't want them to be totally hopeless because then they'll be there next season which benefits us - just don't want them to do too well so that they both finish below us

Rubbish. The league system works by letting everyone play every team twice, and as such the same amount of games. We've played 2 games fewer, so it's not a direct comparison. We need to win one of those two games to go back above them -- one of them is a home game to a relegation-battling team, and we've won the vast majority of our games at home.

Right now you just cannot say which team is the 5th best by looking at points alone. If you want to be nitpicky then you should go by points per game. They have 1.8, we have 1.86.

United have the best away record in the league. Can we please stop tempting fate. And we never tonk anyone btw, we barely beat the gash bottom half sides

They currently have the 5th highest points total. There's no other reliable way of measuring it. I said 'currently' for a reason.

half of that reign was against dog [Poor language removed] liverpool teams.

this time he's up against the best team in england, who tonked him 4-1 earlier in the season without even getting out of first gear. he's also been much more aussred away than at home this season with the extra pressure.

Yeah, but their record is terrible against any teams in the top half. I didn't say we'll tonk them, just that he'll play a weakened team incase we do.
