Today's football.

I am reluctantly coming round to the idea of technology being used in football.

There are two many bad referees these days and their ineptitude is influencing the result of too many matches.

two? all 10 are clueless.

dare i say it, would united have got that as a pen under moyes? not sure they would have tbh. anyway, thought united were going to great now that useless moyes was gone? thought we were finally going to see beautiful attacking football?

think united fans need to realize this is a terrible squad, moyes failed and was a bad manager for them yes, and although the job was by no means impossible, alex ferguson was the greatest coach ever - even he laughed at how he won the title with this squad.

no were near pen btw, i don't think welbeck dived, he's just that clumsy that he kicked the floor and fell over. he didn't even appeal, surely that's a big enough indication for the ref.

could see as soon as he gave howson the yellow he'd be a homer. refs don't have enough bottle these days to go against the bigger clubs with the bigger attendances (except us it seems).

They do have a history of wanting to play it on the floor but we are probably talking Moore, Hurst, Peters et al as the last set of players to truly play that way and be any way successful.

BUT Allardyce is playing some dire stuff with them.

yeah exactly. it's basically like us claiming our first kit should be salmon colour ha, it was so long ago it's irrelevant. can't see allardyce putting up with it for much longer tbh.

Yet nobody even questioned the penalty. Weird.

Welbeck is exteremly lucky he fluked that pen though, what a shocking f... up that was lol

haha, what hideous defending.

united have been a one man team this season.

people kept moaning that fulham had sacked two managers and norwich had kept theres and saying look at the respective results. are people going to say the reverse if fulham got magath in and it proved the right decision???

i don't like allardyce but the volley of abuse he's getting from WHU fans in unreal. i've never ever seen them play good footy so no idea what they're moaning about. they were in the championship a few years back, a lot of clubs like them would crave the stability. hope he leaves and then we'll see if they cope any better.
Their time machine is stalled in 1966. To be fair since then they have had one or two that can stroke it around (Trevor Brooking, Alan Devonshire) but any club that spends that sort of dough on the bludgeon that is Andy Carroll should not be shocked at the current "style".
