True but he was appointed by Bayern to bring his own philosophy and identity to the club. If they wanted to play as they did last year, they could've just kept Heynckes on.

They were in a difficult spot last year though unfortunately for them - Heynckes had announced his retirement, only to go back on that decision just before Pep was appointed.

You'd have thought that Pep would have realised that Bayern don't have the midfielders needed to play his Barca tiki taka.

Okay - interesting question.

Tiki Taka or the Northern European style used so effectively by Madrid last night?

Personally, the style of play utilised by Dortmund is my favourite.

I'd have to say Guardiola's Barca - Tiki Taka combined with the intense, relentless pressing off the ball you see with the likes of Dortmund.

When Barca were doping ( :hayee: ) they played with relentless pressing off the ball. Think I recall Pep saying that they would spend 7 seconds pressurising the opponent before retreating if they were unsuccessful in getting the ball back.

Chelsea team: Schwarzer; Ivanović, Terry, Cahill, Cole; Azpilicueta, Luiz, Ramires; Willian, Hazard, Torres

Bus firmly parked

Atlético's line up: Courtois, Juanfran, Godin, Miranda, Filipe, Mario, Tiago, Koke, Arda, Adrian, Costa
