some more toffees can be justified into wanting us to lose today now imo. i'd never want my team to lose, but lets just say it will be one of the least arsed defeats (probably the least) if we were to lose. nothing wrong with that, that's not bitter, i'd expect a majority of liverpool fans would feel the same if roles were reversed.

do we play an extra qualifying game if we finish 6th as opposed to 5th?

Very well remembered. A long story but based on a FA Cup 1st Round second replay at Stamford Bridge in December 1976 and Mullery going loopy at the Palace fans after the game when he got the bird for protesting that their penalty should not have had to be retaken (it shouldn't and was missed):dance: and that Palace's winner was offside by a bus ride, (it was!).lol Ref that night was Ron Challis, still known by all Seaweed fans as Challis of the Palace.
