Difficult to think of a worse regular England rb than Johnson.

why have england decided to play two warm up games against teams the same calibre as costa rica (a game they should be winning without needing to get use to etc.) when they have to get past one of two much better teams and then if they get through, even harder teams again???

it just doesn't make sense to me and isn't ideal at all. even wales have a warm-up with the netherlands for um well, nothing. pretty sure they should have tested themselves with two difficult warm ups to test style, personnel, formation because they'll have to set up differently as they do vs costa rica.

.......hope England realise that they just have to pick their best players for the games in Brazil. Its quite simple really. It will be hot, so an axis of possession footballers with a bit of ambition, pace and flair in wide positions.

Don't talk sense Eggs, Hodgson is from the school of stifling the absolute life out of flair football and all about rigid hardworking structure. A tight 1-0 defeat is a victory in his mind.

If the rs are signging Lallana for £20m then I'm laughing, cause based on that, he isn't worth £2m.

I thought that was the sort of squad he has picked Eggs. Shaw, Baines, Ross, Lallana, the Arsenal lads, Sturridge.

My view is the Gerrard/Henderson axis looks, well, wooden.

As ever, will take your views more seriously than any on here! Including mine.;)

think england were lucky the officials weren't petty there. could easily have disallowed that for that other ball being on the pitch
