That Bayern team we saw last night wont concede ground quite so easily. Schweinsteiger, Kroos, Martinez and Gustavo will pose a massive challenge for this lot.

They get paid way too much respect.

Definitely, I can really see Bayern going all the way and winning it (finally after recent years of being so close).

Watching Barca is just overhyped, they score nice goals as a team but you hav to sit through what feels like days of passing and 1-2's.

Bayern were a pleasure to watch against Arsenal.

I'd love to see Barcelona forced back into their own half for huge periods. Why do most teams just gift them the whole pitch?

Because Iniesta & Xavi are two of the most incisive passers in the history of the game. they can play through sides with 11 men 30yds from thier goal. Imagine what they'd do against a side pushed up towards the half way line, which you need to do to dominate territory.

This Bayern side would be the immovable object meeting the irresistible force.

Really don't think Bayern were all that last night. Considering how much Arsenal were going to get 'slaughtered' it took two totally scrappy goals to put the game to bed.

No team who takes the game to Barcelona will walk out victorious over two legs.

But that's just the point: you press them higher up and you dont give them the opportunity to play regular balls through teams who are caught high up the pitch...and when a team forces Barca to cough up high up the pitch they dont have 90 yards to get to the Barca goal. It requires a very good team, yes. But it also requires a mindset that isn't running up the white flag from the opening minute.

No, I didnt think they were all that last night either, and said so. But they are a very accomplished side in all positions. They can do enough to starve Barca of the usual 70% posessiion and have a lot of threat out wide and up front.
