The stupidest thing about the tackle was that he missed the pr!ck, but it's a definite red.

11 points from 10 games, and they played 6 of them at home (we've only had 4 home games, in contrast). They've got some tricky games coming up (Chelsea, Swansea, Wigan & Spurs), and by the time they've lost to Chelsea next weekend, they'll have played 6 games in 17 days. Lingering doubts over them being in a false position are being dispelled rapidly.

Despite how ridiculous that challenge was, it still winds me up ratboy goes down holding his leg with his arm in the air. He never touched him FFS. It was a red card all day long but for God's sake he makes my blood boil.

what did he say?

Stoke's former Liverpool and Newcastle striker Michael Owen on Twitter: "Not having Coloccini's red card at all. He didn't touch him and to say there was intent is laughable. Let me tell you, he kicks a moving ball a thousand times a day and doesn't miss it once. If he wanted to connect with a standing leg then he wouldn't have missed. He pulls out at the last minute and doesn't touch him. Not having that's a red at all."
