Todd Boehly. A man...who wants an all-star game.

Because it makes the owners buckets of money

I very much doubt it will bring any owners much money here. Unless, as you said earlier they exploit foreign based customers and have the all star game abroad, there will be nothing in it for them.

My prediction, knowing how British (English) football fans are. They generally hate anything that Americanises the game, this would be the epitomy of trying to do this, it will fail massively and be a complete and utter waste of time.

It won't bring them money unless they do the obvious thing they can do to make them money.

I'd like to see Boehly do well with them and demands they let him lift a trophy first just to really piss everyone off (myself included).

Do it the week after the season ends in the years where there isn't a major tournament. Most of those involved will be off to play international friendlies or qualifiers anyway so give them 45 minutes. It's dumb but it also isn't the end of the world.

Or just don’t do it at all, because no fans want too see it, managers would utterly hate it and no player in their right minds would be arsed about playing in it.

No fans want to see it is wrong. People will talk about the American sports but a ton of people still watch those events. A global league like the PL will be able to find an interested market considering they already do for meaningless games every summer.

I think people need to start replacing "fans" with "I" when they say it isn't something worth watching.

Is that an American thing where the owner lifts the trophy first?

I think it is more the trying to change the fabric of the game itself that annoys British football fans, creating more and more customers and ignoring the fans (obviously not just an American thing). Like the 39th game nonsense, this is a similar thing.

Anyone who wants to see this nonsense isn’t a football fan. They are casual entertainment observers. So yes my statement is correct, no fans want to see it.

No 'fans', is the correct term.

Customers might be happy to watch a waste of time friendly that the players will not be bothered about but the customers might be a different story.
