Don't know what the comparisons with Osman and Milner are based on. He's nothing like either of them.

This probable signing is symptomatic of the flaws in Martinez's approach to football. He is worryingly prone to putting faith in players that are nowhere near good enough to make possession count at the highest level.

First of all please refer to earlier post by @meagher94 which points out Villa fans are disagreeing with you on that and they watch him every week. So there you go, you must be right because you watch villa every week also eh?

@Foot Long Hot Dog Are they hell as like. Cleverley is a pedestrian central midfielder who provides little in the way of creativity, defensive cover or anything of real note whatsoever, he's a crab.

Milner has bags of energy chases lost causes is a great crosser of the ball, makes great runs into the box and scores his fair share of goals.

In short the complete antithesis of the non entity that is Tom "what does he do again?" Cleverley.

Cleverly isnt a crab at all, he actually played over 30 games for two consecutive seasons at united, one under ferguson where he replaced paul scholes, and they kinda went on and won the league with him in the team that year, he must be shocking for that eh?
