He's been very professional with the club in comparison to players like Lukaku. His substitution did improve us tremendously but he doesn't deserve booing.

I'd love for him to discover the footballing ability that made Ferguson think him one of the best in Britain, because he's a much better lad than most of them. Just a shame that he almost certainly will not.

He wouldn't get any abuse if he stopped getting himself marked and hiding.

We talk about guts and spirit and this lad never shows for the ball or tries to drag the team up. we are crying out for a creative spark in midfield like Arteta and Pienaar used to do. Give and go, draw the foul. He just makes sure he is marked constantly.

He was too expensive for free sadly.
