People had opinions before the Facebook mars took over mate.

Well said. Some people seem to expect that young players simply roll off the production line already equipped with a world of experience ,and there to be no mistakes and growing pains. Simply ridiculous.

Some people also think it is inevitable that young players will definitely improve just by the magic ingredients of "getting older" and "tolerance of them being rubbish for extended periods". Simply ridiculous.

His last good game was against City close to two years ago. Says it all.

That’s not Strictly true is it. He’s had several decent games at Goodison since then. He was also pretty good in that god damn awful performance at the Emirates last season (probably our best player when he came on for the second half)

Capable is being able to pass a ball to a player in the same colour shirt, to tackle the opposition and to start attacking moves, all of which he doesn’t do enough of consistently.
