What on earth are you talking about? Poisonous, crap, rubbish, useless, different words but same intended meaning.

Stop making it something it isn't and get off your high horse.

Crap rubbish and useless all have same implied meaning, not being good at something. Poisonous doesn’t. Poisonous is about something being destructive and corruptive, or in other words toxic. It’s more to do with personality and character than ability.

However, you may use it to mean crap, but I’d argue most wouldn’t associate it with that and so it’s crossed wires. Better to just let it go and move on to slating a 20 year old for not being Messi standard.

He should be back in the team by now. Gueye and Gomes have been dreadful for a month now. The kid can play. He has plenty to work with. It's time he was backed again. He simply can't do worse than what I saw today. He certainly wouldn't have bottled challenges left right and centre.

I'm a fan and I make no apology.

He should be in League One mate.

The boy can play. I've no doubt. If people would get off his back and cut out their petty agendas. He tries the right things. That matters a lot. Gueye does all the wrong things. His instinct is backwards and risks.
To be fair he can't do worse than those out there at present. Might as well at least make a point to those letting us down so badly and get him in the team ahead of them for a month.

He's garbage and he shouldn't even be nead the team, despite us being hopeless. Tosh like him being tolerated is a symptom of the club's malaise.

Idrissa Gueye is tosh every week without fail yet I don't see you criticising him.

I sense double standards on this forum.

You must be joking - I don't rate Gueye at all. Check out an overrated/underrated thread from the end of the first Koeman season.

I also don't think we should be playing three in the middle again against rot like Milwall

As I've said, I'd rather back the young kid making his way who is trying to do the right things and be aggressive. Rather than back the experienced player who does all the wrong things like playing short and square averagely.

The Davies who broke through under Koeman was excellent. He's been crap since last season. But there's a player there. I'm certain there is. It doesn't help him being slaughtered by clueless football stattos who think Gueye is world class because he made a couple of tackles against Fulham.

Those three today were nothing like the Holy Trinity I watched in my youth - they were slow predictable and tippy tappy all of the game v inferior opposition - our defence is suspect - our midfield is blunt and we have very little attack = relegation form........

No, he was crap last season too, not just since then.

Short and square? That's the Davies MO, if you include hiding and playing the ball back every time. Add crappy diving, no game sense, weak, can't dribble and doesn't score, you could say he has a fair amount to work on.

Yes he's been crap since last season. That's what I said. As in he started being crap last season. But I disagree completely to be honest. There's a player there 100%.

Of course I would like better options in midfield but we don't have them. The question I ask is do I think he's in our best 3 midfielders. The answer is an emphatic yes and to SELL Gueye, Schneiderlein and Mccarthy.
