In terms of rating Tom, some of us oldies are probably jaundiced.
We remember Ball, Kendall, Harvey, and even in poor times, brilliant players like Martin Dobson.
Perhaps, unfairly, we compare today's players to those of our collective past.
Tom seems a decent lad, but he had done nothing to suggest he will develop into a top midfielder.
