My view on loaning players is this.
If they are surplus to requirements and we are trying to sell them then loaning them out is the only option until they are sold.
If they are in the first team squad and we don’t want to sell them then they should not go out on loan.
If they are progressing from youth football and not considered to be quite good enough for the first team squad then they should be loaned out for a maximum period of 2 seasons. If they haven’t proved good enough for the first team squad after that period they should be sold or released. That would mean players such as Pennington,Browning(I know he’s left) Garbutt and Galloway would be gone before this season.
That will mean that Dowell,Robinson and Williams should either be in the first team squad next season or sold.
Bit harsh and Garbutt and Galloway, I saw something in both. Clearly just me!

Agree with making decisions and moving lads on though.

Silva made him captain and Brands gave him a new deal. We can only take it in good faith that his commitment and ability in training has been outstanding.

That would be the sensible vi...hang on it's us! NOOO they are all wrong he's the worst player to come of the academy since Ross Barkley. Bin him off to Bournemouth

Glad he's signed as he's local and obviously everyone wants a local lad to come good, still think he's miles off being good enough for a top half club but he still has time on his side.

Would prefer to send him on loan to a newly promoted team next season, or somewhere decent where he’d get real minutes.
