He’s a good , young footballer who has already captained the side .
As a bonus he is also the nephew of a title winning favourite , an Evertonian and a Scouser. If we can’t at least afford him a little more respect ,even if some are dubious he can succeed, it’s a sad indictment of our support.
It’s alright taking the mick out of his dress sense, it’s what old and conservative people always do to youngsters , but some of the hostility directed at him is out of all proportion.

What gets me is how people point to his dress sense as proof that he's an unsavory character or someone who isn't working hard enough

When has he ever been in trouble and when has a manager ever called him out? There's no suggestion that he's a scally who isn't taking his job seriously, but all of a sudden the fact he has a slightly off key outfit means he's a trouble maker

It’s always the same, the herd gets alarmed when individuality appears amongst them, they fear the world is moving past them and sense their impending obsolescence, it terrifies them hence their collective hatred of anything new or different.
Of course the irony is that the really nasty no- mark scallies dress exactly like their scruffy arl fellas because they’re equally thick.

Nah if someone’s got crap dress sense they’ve got crap dress sense.

Needs to push on this season or he could seriously be looking at the exit door imo, it’s too late for a loan

When has he ever even remotely been in any shred of trouble?

No suggestion to me that he has an ego or he's misbehaving. If he wants to wear strange clothes then fine. It's not like he's setting off fireworks in his house or drink driving or getting into fights in night clubs

He seems like a decent bloke who just dresses a bit esoterically. Judging a book by it's cover mate, I doubt you'd like it if someone did similar to you

Seriously, when has Davies done anything like a Ballotelli or a Merson?

He behaves himself as far as I can see, he just wears clothes you don't like so he's not committed enough

Again, how would you feel if someone judged you on what you wore or how you looked as opposed to what you actually did? I'm betting you wouldn't like it
