Coleman was a great player for us for years but he’s not suited to the modern game anymore
Full backs have to get up and down the line and put good crosses in , Coleman can’t do it any more
The rest are not good enough any more
I’d add Delph but he can cover 2 positions and on his day ( which for us is rare ) is a decent player

Made his debut four years ago! Yesterday he was out classed, out thought, out played, out run, out fought by a lad of eighteen, who looks about nine stone wet through, and who was playing his second game for Chelsea! He won't be getting the five year deal his two mates had last week!

I really really wish he would come good, only because I want a local lad as our captain and i think his style is crazy bizarre. I know that's irrational and stupid. I think the only way forward might be a loan in Spain or Italy, where he has to do something with a fraction more time on the ball and make something happen, and someone who will play him 20-30 times a seasonThen we can judge him, and then again compare him to Mason Mount, Declan Rice, Foden, Rashford, etc - not the same position I know, but young players who do have several highlights per season - even in 20 matches
