Can't belive people are saying he done well he jogged about in that 2nd half never put a tackle in once don't think he even touched the ball until he missed that chance for a central midfielder that is woeful stuff
Poor again. Not angry over that chance it seems nothing goes our away against them but in midfield he and Gomes were utterly dominated by an off-court Liverpool. Been in and around the first team for 4 years and still has no awareness in his game.

Played well 2nd half. But Davies had to carry a completely anonymous Gomes, had nothing on offer from Gordon and Iwobi and Gylfi got in his way when he came on.
Coleman had a solid back two in Keane and Holgate next to him which is why I think (I know) Davies deserves it more

Yes the block cones because he scuffs it, didn’t drill it clean.
Brilliant performence, people recognise he was key to this performence don’t they. Sucked all the space up in between midfield and defence. Thats the area Mordor thrive in. Executed the system perfectly. It’s what he did without the ball.

I don't think he was great or poor. Made his usual poor decisions turning into traffic in Central positions when he could just pass on and move. Made a few good tackles.
Just feel if we had a CM with experience and class in the middle alongside Gomes we could push on. Davies needs to bulk up and get some tactical awareness otherwise he'll be gone or benched next season.

He’s got no body else.
I thought he did better in the 2nd half. But still a long way off. And again trying a scissor flick in injury time and loosing the ball, which led to the free kick. I do think we lack real game intelligence from some players
And Gomes was awful, the strolling around and getting the ball knicked off him, embarrassing. Just add 2 quality, aggressive central midfielders and another quality forward. And that team improves so much.

Not many central minds admittedly but if Davies was soooo bad as some incredibly envious posters believe then he wouldn't have completed 90 mins
I think that usually he is poor and lacks discipline.
Today I thought he was poor on the ball but kept going and importantly kept his discipline.
He sould still be shipped out but I thought that was one of his better performances.
I have to say I thought Andre was awful.

Did ok second half , bit loose in possession now and again, thought Gomes was rubbish from start to finish next to him.

He did alright today. I don't think he has the technique to ever be top class, and that probably means we shouldn't be starting him as much as we have been lately, but as a squad player he is worth keeping.
