Thought Tom Davies performed well today against Blackpool. Dominated the midfield and played some top drawer passes. Looking like he could be the backbone of the team for years to come.

His positional play is awful, his body shape when he receives the ball is awful, his passing is awful, he can’t tackle , I haven’t criticised him before and always gave him the benefit, as I think we could get away with him in a 451, but he’s in no way good enough for us, but I don’t think any of the midfield are either, all the CM’s are incapable of playing in a 442, you’ve got to have more about you playing in there than anything we currently have at the club.
