Davies is easily worse than those three. He's the absolute pits.

I'd still get rid of Delph first, like.

He isn't - he is yet another youth player that the last few managers have almost ruined. If he stays, Carlo stays and the midfield is sorted out like everyone hopes I think he will look a completely different player, like when he first appeared and actually had energy, attacked, moved forward etc.

In short I'd bin off every one of those three before Davies, as @ToffeeTim correctly says.

The half he played against Norwich was quite possibly the worst I’ve ever seen a central midfielder ever play. Not just saying that to be dramatic either. I remember watching it trying to understand how a pro footballer can be that bad on a pitch.

Happily sell him for a bit of a profit. Probably get around £10m for him.

Got to disagree, Gomez versus Villa cannot be beaten as the worst performance ever.

I've seen him play in matches and not be hopeless. He's a squad player I'd happy to keep at least 1 more year. There are lots of others who need to go first.

We disagree here I know but he can still play his part this season as a squad player, I am convinced he will become an effective midfield player with better players around him to give him the confidence to move forward with his game.
