He was excellent today again, didn’t deserve to be hauled off. Not everything came off but he did some very promising work. I still have high hopes for this kid so for me he has to be an immediate starter now while AG is out, if he wasn’t already.

I’ve slated Davies a lot on this forum but last 2 games at goodison he’s been a lot better and today was his best in a while I would say. Well played Tom.

I felt Davies gave another positive performance today. Put himself about and tried to keep the flow of play moving forward when he could. Really happy to see getting playing time.

Didnt spot anything mate. Would make sense though, he would’ve been the last one I’d drag off. Been our best player last three games.

Did see him down on the line at one point, but no idea what was being said.

Silva should have gone long ago.

Marco was trying to tell him something before half time and Davies was saying “just wait and tell me at half time” because he was taking too long

Yeah apparently he was going to get an extra few minutes but Silva was (understandably) asking him to show some tactical discipline. He gobbed off at Silva, got taken off, and the change ultimately led to the equaliser.

This was always going to be his make or break season as an Everton player. He’s got the opportunity now, and we need him to take it.

He’s got quick feet & a football brain. Always looks to get the ball forward quickly, but can hold onto & run into space (unlike Sigmund Fraud) & he got fight & can tackle (ditto).
