Interesting that Peter Reid has rated Davies so highly. Reckons ( back in November) that Davies was our best player in midfield.
Legend that he is, and superb player that he was, i totally disagree with that assessment. Davies looked low on confidence last season, short of ideas and extremely sluggish.
Unfortunately, he is nowhere near Premiership class at the minute.

Clubs pay a premium for players that put the ball in the back of the net, this lad puts the ball out of play. No chance we get north of 20mil. I’d love to be proven wrong, but if they offered 5 mil I think we’d sell him.

Regardless of what you think, the boy is England U21 Captain, he will fetch a decent price.
