I can't see him being sold. As strange as it may seem I think it will leave us light in midfield.
It seems clear that Baningme, Delph and Besic seem to have no future at the club.
Gbamin has not kicked a ball in over a year and there is no mention yet of when he may be fit.
JR has not been signed to run around centre midfield offering defensive cover to our back four, anybody who has watched him so far can tell he has no interest in defensive duties and is not asked to do so.
In my opinion that leaves us Allan, Doucoure, Gomes, Sigurdsson and Davies.
So far we have played with three in midfield and while JR continues to have little defensive responsibilities that will continue I think.
Sell Davies and we have four covering three positions.
We could switch to 442 but God help Coleman who will have no cover in front of him then.

It may happen, however, its unlikely, all teams in the top six would struggle with that many injuries... Personally Delph gets encouraged to leave over our follow of fashion.
Should just keep Besic, he's actually better than Davies.

I think he has been in the past but I don’t think it would be seen as a massive deal, there are loads of U21 players that never make it in the full England squad or even end up playing that often for their club, especially if they’re from a decent Premier League club.
I’ll be happy if I’m proved wrong as we need to generate cash from somewhere and Davies is definitely not required now.
I think that if there was any chance that he was to be kept then he would have played against Salford.. or tonight. Was it against Preston he came on as a sub and looked poor imo.
I think the same applies for Delph , who is fit apparently.. although I could see him being involved tonight to put him in the shop window.
We do have a lot of players but ironically we don't have a big squad.
I believe CA focuses on the players he wants to work with in the squad everybody else is available for loan or transfer and I think he is really just not aware of them... as Luke Garbutt found out.
It is only my opinion and undoubtedly we need to raise money so we may well lose players just to raise funds.
