Come on, these weren't isolated bad games or mistakes - he's been poor for 3 seasons now. We're all made up that there's finally been a big improvement in past few weeks but let's not go rewriting history.
I don't think that is fair. I have seen criticism of him in games where I thought he did well but he had become a fashionable scapegoat.

Three years ago he was a nineteen year old boy, maybe a trifle early to be deciding on how good he was or was ever going to be.

He is a young player who is still learning.
I do thing the coaching staff have simplified his game, given him clear direction and I would guess that his confidence must be sky high at present.

I would guess he is an extremely strong minded lad, seems to be a natural leader and certainly a bit of a maverick... awful dress sense though...imo.

he is disliked by sexually oppressed middle aged men who have a fetish for shouting at young boys and being first to write players off as they have no authority or erections left in their life. it is sad but the tom kid seems to have guts about him. he is ten times the man of his haters.

Plays the 6 for England, keeps it simple and has always been picked. For us I think we haven't pressed him down the right path with managers coming out saying he's an attacking mid. Be an option, keep your passing straightforward, harrass attackers. Usefual squad player if he can maintain that role.
He plays for England?

He lost several years of development due to the string of poor managers. He is getting coached again and it shows.

He was never bad.
It's just that at the moment he has stopped being the scapegoat.
One poor performance and for some normal service will resume.
If he starts giving the ball away all the time he will get stick, and that goes for any player, in particular richarlison.

Whose Allen?
What an embarrassing blunder, I meant Allan of course.

Ps if you are going to be so pedantic about spelling, maybe hold your grammar to the same standards,
Think you meant who is, or ‘who’s.....

Whose vs. Who’s

Who’s is a contraction linking the words who is or who has, and whose is the possessive form of who. They may sound the same, but spelling them correctly can be tricky.
;)

Just watched him on the player cam from last night and it really was a great performance. Keeping in mind that most players in his position are more experienced, I reckon we'll see this level more consistently as he ages. Hope so anyway. Brilliant.

sorry slimeballs gonna need u to grovel more get down real low and lick the wheels of his skateboard. only then will the good jury of grandoldteam.com decide to forgive u and allow u to continue as part of our community.
Firstly I am not a slimeball and secondly "two good games do not a star make ".I qualified my remarks and for that you are out of order and furthermore I have no intention of saying more good about a very average player for the team in the last three years .
The reasons are there to pick and choose but let us be straight he will not be getting called up for England yet as I am sure could be confirmed if you ask Southgate .
You personally can think what you may but you can check my past postings as I was never too harsh just fair .
You see if you want to sit on a high horse that is your perogative but at least don't bunch all who have apologized as though they were all of the same ilk.
