I haven't seen tonight's game but by all accounts he's continued his form of the last 6/7 games. Think he was MOM in the previous 4 which must be a first on GOT.

Dare I say it, and I hate comparing young players to past greats, but he's starting to remind me of Peter Reid, a player himself not graced with great pace but boy was he effective for us.

Long may it continue.

Dare i say it also. It may have taken a while but also an ancelotti type midfielder. Only player imo who gave a sh!t v man city.
But like you say. Lets not do that Everton thing. Its 6/7 games. The reason we are not successful is because we have no consistency over a full season.

He's been fantastic for the past few games - reborn.
In fairness he's been decent all season. Started games we didn't expect him to due to injuries, and has helped us see out games when coming off the bench. Has never let the manager down. The last half dozen games he's stepped up to a level we thought he could reach when he first came on the scene, and he's done it against the best teams in the league.

Absolutely chuffed for him.

Thats nonsense. His form and fitness went through the floor. He was blowing out of his arse last season in games after an hour. And have you forgot in almost every game he was passing to the opposition more than his team mates.
He's upped his game lately. Thats it.
You are wrong
Of course he went through good and bad patches like any young player

He was made captain a couple of times last season by this manager so he must not have thought he was so bad

Sigurdsson has been made captain aswell. Enough said.
He was poor. Cut the crap. Its fine to admit he might have taken his eye off the ball, no pun intended.
But im not arsed. If hes getting it together then it only benefits the team.

He's arguably now keeping Allan out the side. Which 2 months ago any suggestion that would have been the case would have been the ravings of a madman.

Fair play to the lad.

Surely has to be a 3 of Doucoure, Allan & Davies going forward?

Siggurdsson is fine off the bench to see a game out and James has more room out on the right but it makes such a big difference if we have 3x midfielders who can actually press, get about the pitch and throw a tackle in.

Liverpools success of recent seasons has been that - the moment they threw a tippy tappy "baller" in the middle like Thiago its fallen apart for them.
