For me he wouldn't start every game but in the big games away he would be the 3rd midfielder alongside Doucoure and Allan. I would rotate him with them in the other games. He's found his best position which is part of a midfield 3. I don't think he can play in a 2 as he doesn't quite have the pace.
Thought Tom Davies played decent enough when he came on against Chelsea. He made a couple of good passes, made a couple of mistakes, but in general kept things simple and did most of the basic stuff well, also we looked better with him on the field.
