Plays like he's sporting a pair of these at times. Get him on a diet in the summer.

He and Allan were played the wrong way around. Davies can look tidy in front of the back four and playing simple one-twos with the players around him, a steady passer who keeps it moving. He can't tackle or even ready play particularly well.

Allan is a buzz-saw who will cover a lot of ground and put his foot in where it hurts, is stronger than he looks too. Not great linking-up though and is a bit slow at recovering when players get past him.

Ancelotti's mix-up there is largely what cost us the game.

He’s actually better with the ball than Allan and Gomes are.

His assist and then his ball to play DCL who mis controlled need to be acknowledged.

He should have stayed on with Allan.

Gomes should have been subbed, and then sent straight to the abattoir.

Gomes is all shades of Nyarko.

Gomes improved as the game went on. I'm still baffled as to why tom was taken off tonight. He wasn't brilliant by any means, but he was far from our worst player.
