A great assist and played a peach of a through ball for DCL to ruin. 4 minutes he was off and we completely handed the midfield to them. Exactly the same thing happened against Man City at home funnily enough.

Was he at fault for the goal? Yes deffo but he continued to probe and try and pick out passes.

Terrible decision to take him off.

One of our best if not our best midfielder in 2021... Bosses it against Man U, Liverpool... and still there are posts like this. Does my head in. Some just have it in for the lad.

Allan was always best as a centre midfielder but at Napoli Ancelotti played him as a defensive midfielder.

We should be playing Davies as the anchor and Allan/Doucoure ahead of him.

Yet again caught in possession and responsible for the goal.
However by no means was he our worst player but not good enough as a starter.

He was ok last night, could have done better with the first goal, but, on another night with another ref he gets a free kick for the push on him. His cross for the Dominic Calvert Lewin goal was a peach, as was his through ball to the same player, which Dominic miss controlled. It was just as good a through ball as the recent ones by James and Iceland that we have all raved over.
It wasn’t his best game, but, it was a solid performance and much better than Iwobi’s. Tommy D is one of those players who thrive on a run of games, he’s just back from injury and still picking up the pace. He’s no world beater, but, he’s still young and is a very useful player to have around the squad.
