Decent little cameo today. The lad is a far better passer and technical player than most give him credit for. Decision making hasn't always been perfect but he's a young lad in an experienced man's role. More to come and would be shocked if he was sold.
Technical player! LOL. You dont have seen a technical player in your life.

He’s the new Tony hibbert. And if Moshiri & ancelotti would have been around then, hibbert would not have had 10yrs at the club.

If Tom is happy being 5th choice moving forward, then he will probably stay. That’s up to him
hibbo did nothing wring, shame on you for disrespecting hibbo

When everyone is fit, Carlo picks Allan Docuoure James then whoever is least rubbish this week out the other lot. If we get Gbamin and Delph back fit and bring another midfielder in Davies won’t be playing much (at first, until the inevitable injury crisis which puts him and Siggurdson straight back into the starting 11)

delph will be sold and gbamin is well about finished putting it nicely

Disrespecting lol
Hibbo was a good defender and always have 100% but he wasn’t good enough to be part of a team wanting to play regular champions league football and win trophies, just like 5/6 who regularly start now

And like them getting moved on sooner or later, that’s what would havd happened To hibbo if money and a manager of ancelotti class has joined at that time

Was looking at some stats yest. We have the lowest goals scored from open play in the top 8. By some distance to. 26. The crystal palaces and newcastle are around 23/24. Those above us are almost double.
Davies isn't thee problem. Hes just part of the problem. midfield that doesnt create.

To be fair, in the role that he's finally settled into, creating isn't his job. If he's doing his job in front of the back four (or three) it gives the other mids license to get forward and link up play. Unfortunately Gomes who is supposed to be doing this has been terrible, Jamezz has been out, Doucore is out, it's not Allan's game either, Gylfi has a stroke of brilliance once in awhile, Digne does it but we've been playing a centerback on the right and that's not his game either, so there you have it.

We have to many who's job it isnt to create. Thats why our stats from open play are comparable with crystal palace.
Just pointing out we're screaming out for a few midfielders who dont just dig in.
