That will be good for 4 of our youth players then, i'd imagine someone like Tyrer will be on that list.
Onyango & Small too?

Tyrer, Onyango and Small will qualify for the b list so won't need registered in the 25 man squad. I would keep Simms and Gordon around for the same reason.

I'd love to see Tom improve his physical side - but he's definitely worth keeping and investing more time and effort training and mentoring him. If he's a bit of Allan and Doucoure in the future that will be amazing.
....he’s doing fine. He’s another that looks better when the right players are around him. There’s a lot of ‘old school’ in his competitiveness that might not be suited to the modern game but is quite refreshing.

I like the lad & I quite like he’s associated with our club. He’s not a first name on the team sheet but Ancelotti will need players like him.

Back up squad player only. He still does daft things like losing the ball and passing to the opposition. He had a decent game though yesterday and is better than the disappointing Gomes. The poor ref misinterpreted some perfectly good Davies tackles in the first half which probably affected his game later on. When we get the crowds back these loud screams from the opposition bench and from players pretending to be hurt will lose their effect on refs decisions.

Conversely if we had no home grown players we would be pointing the finger at the youth and reserves for not developing them.

Until we have 6 or 7 first team home grown players who are amongst the best with the rest being the best players from around the world there's always room for improvement.

Alas Tom Davies is not part of that end game scenario. Prove me wrong Tom, prove me wrong.
Well who’s been developed in the last 10years?

the finger should already be well and truly pointed. Thankfully it looks like things are changing at youth level. And not holding onto players in to their 20’s that are not good enough

Everton lose - Tom Davies isn't good enough
Everton win - Tom Davies is worth keeping as a squad player/developing for the future.

The truth is that, win or lose, he's not good enough.
DCL - when the chips were down, he stopped scoring.......as we all knew he would. Not good enough and never will be!

With respect, your judgement isn't great, so if its ok with you, I'm going to ignore it.

You know that feeling when you get your fingers ready to count and then you're left struggling to think of any who are even upper half of the table quality...
