Did not keep the shape. Too far back. Was not in the middle of the park to defend or to work the ball forward. Seemed about nothing in particular.

Seems to think that taking more defensive responsibility involves playing about a yard in front of the defence. Did the same in the 2nd half v Arsenal.

The game definitely got scrappier after he came on (which is the only way I saw us nicking a goal after Richy went off). I agree he is the better option though that is saying very little.
