The game definitely got scrappier after he came on (which is the only way I saw us nicking a goal after Richy went off). I agree he is the better option though that is saying very little.

He’s not good enough at this level, he knows it. Not really his fault tbh.

The thing that gets me is that he’s never really looked like he wants to make his mark - he’s never improved physically, his fitness.

He just seems happy to coast through his career while young players like Mount, Foden, Jones, McTominay are making a name for themselves.

Yeah I thought the same. Massive hole in the middle, on the reply saw Davies on the edge of the box!

Would have started for me instead of Gomes. Did nothing when he came on though, was too deep for the first Man Utd goal ended up with a back line of 6 people and nobody in midfield to step out to Man Utd.

Davies was easily our best midfielder today and before you say Doucoure he completed 52% of his passes so that's just an automatic nope for me.

It isn't like it is a big achievement but people saying sell our nuts when he quite literally has a strong case to be getting regular game time until Allan and Gbamin are ready again.
