And Phil cant walk anymore, or drum. Tom can't play football either, despite not being in a wheelchair. In fact he would be more mobile that way. Maybe a stairlift for headers as well.

I hope he leaves to seek first team football and show a bit of ambition and with it maybe a few people wrong.

If the wages are reasonable I haven't an issue with him being a squad player here, but that said it leaves the question if he's happy with settling for that role will he need to ever give that last % to try and improve?

I think that will say a lot about the kind of person he is.

If it comes with a reasonably low release clause than he could be helping the club out in that decision.
But if by now he really isn't looking for first team football, then something really isn't right with the lad.

He is average, hes not a bad player, for me.

He’s so bad. I can’t think of any one thing he’s good at to even make him average at this level. Utter waste of wages. I half think he’s been offered a deal just to make Dom happy…our wonderful striker who can’t score goals.

We might sell Gomes but Davies leaving on a free gets us nothing.
We need a squad and he won’t be a bench blocker on his low salary if we have any talent coming through.

Davies staying on a wage loses us something though.

He's had 7 managers, 2 caretaker managers and never been a regular starter for any of them and we offer him a new contract. This club never cease to amaze me, be lucky to start half a dozen games and we will pay him the best part of £1 million minimum in wages.
