That would be a pretty damning indictment on what a soft touch Everton have become. Fit and healthy squad players who retire in their twenties because they can't get easy money anymore.

I don't dislike the lad and I always thought their was a player in there but I just don't think playing football is that important to him.
If he was to walk away at the end of his contract I for one would wish him all the best for the future as basically he seems like a good kid in a world surrounded by greed and self interest.

I would give him a contract as it gives us the option to sell him to help with ffp. I dont see him ever being more than a squad player. Is a massivr season for him and i just cant see him changing the fans view on him

We'd be mad to release a 22 year old former England u21 player. He can be used in the squad of 26 and has value. Probably the clubs valuation and his agents valuation of the next contract will differ a lot.

Depends on what he wants out of the game bit part at Everton or regular player down a league or two. Either way money wise will continue be multimillionaire.
