When did he last get booked? What happend to the Tom that really got stuck in. Looking it up it was away at Leeds, in his last 7 games he has hardly put a foot in, which wasnt like him in the past

I don’t know when he came on but in the ground it felt like it was fairly late on. Regardless, he was jogging around which is pathetic.

Osman could be frustrating because he was such a physical lightweight but he was several times the talent Davies is
Miles better, technically osman was a great footballer and got goals and assists, think a number 10 role would have been perfect for him, but was in the team the same time as Cahill. Being slow stuck on the wing, didn’t really help him

Dec 2022 ? he made his debut in the 16/17 season and been on the bench for 80 per cent of that time , he’s only chiming up now cos he knows he’s gettin legged end of the season

You said "He doesn’t seen bothered though there’s never once been any reports of him being unhappy with lack of minutes etc" so I just showed you there has been, sorry if it offended you hun x

I remember him coming on in a reserve derby when he was a teenager, we were three down and playing a Liverpool team that had stacked their under 21s with senior reserve players like Grujic. The Everton team was very young though and had players like Dowell Ledson Kenny etc. who had been ran over in that first half and physically man handled.

Davies came on and just battered them into submission, he still didn’t have top pace but he was sharp and had such an edge, he completely changed the game and we drew 3-3. He then went into the senior team under Koeman and then Allardyce and looked far more useful than Schneiderlin and Klaasen culminating in that performance against City. He was strong in the tackle, carried the ball well, had a goal threat, creative, and looked like a future Everton captain. Indeed France’s golden boy had him in the top teenagers in world football. He was the one picked to train with the senior England team.

That Tom Davies would be so useful now, Dyche would absolutely love him. He’d be the leader of the pack in that midfield.

He’s an absolute shadow of what he was. Slower, heavier, but also weaker, timid, can’t run, can’t tackle, doesn’t look like ever scoring again. One of the biggest declines of any Everton player I’ve seen. He’s not even PL standard now despite being one of our best players as a teenager.
