Miles better, technically osman was a great footballer and got goals and assists, think a number 10 role would have been perfect for him, but was in the team the same time as Cahill. Being slow stuck on the wing, didn’t really help him

Yes he was played out of position a lot of the time. He played regularly in the Prem for 10 years in a better Everton team for most of that time than the one Tom is still a fringe squad player for. I think we will find out in the next year or so that Tom’s level is the championship. Hopefully not with us.

His only comparable was Leon Osman but even he had more intelligence

He hasn't got 1/100th of the talent Osman had. Davies does not have 1 single part of his game you can say is remotely acceptable.

Not everything is known and reported. You're getting really angry at a player for not asking for a move without even know if he hasn't asked for a move. Maybe relax a bit, it's Sunday.

He loses the ball too often, gets beat in a tackle, can't really play a pass and gives too many fouls away in dangerous positions.
At best he's a nark in a 3 man midfield but he needs to be played in a more advanced role.
I think there is still a player in there - but I can only see him feeding off a knock down from a centre forward and trying to score.
He's a liability any further back.

I think he has quite clever feet - and is a decent dribbler - but he loses it too much when he's deep in midfield. Just trying to maximise what skill he has really. I don't necessarily think Maupay is a better footballer than him - and Maupay isn't a 9.

Personally think he’d have developed into a far better player if he didn’t have a different manager and coach every year telling him a load of different things. Same goes for Holgate and other young players we’ve had come through as well.
A move to a club who has an actual plan would do wonders for them.

I can only suspect you've seen these things in your head as he's clearly never done it on a pitch to warrant such analysis..

I agree, and the problem is he lacks the attacking tools. Its the only place safe to play him and hes not good enough to play there except as a nuisance in a game you are already winning. His misplaced short passes and getting caught on the ball are brutal any further back.
