I suspect he's enjoying a prolonger summer holiday/break then will sign for someone later this month. I seen him going to Italy or somewhere.

Surely if he's serious about his football he should be getting into a new club early on in pre-season to make an impression and get to know his new team mates.

The fact that he hasn't done that speaks volumes to be about his desire to actually play football. He saw for the past at least four years that he wasn't going to be a frequent starter for us, yet happily sat on his huge salary instead of trying to forge a career at a different club.

He only wants the money. He doesn't want to actually have to play football for it.

If he only wanted the money he would have stayed here.

Davies is a crap footballer in my opinion, but I don't think he is a snide person or anything like that.
 
A nice likeable lad.

But, one of the most mediocre players to ever 'grace' Goodison Park.

Despite his wage needs, if he was any good a Championship club would have snapped him up.

The fact that he stayed under contract at EFC for so long is indicative how poor our club currently is.
