He's going to be very hard to drop from this point. Gueye might struggle to get his place back in the side!
I know that but who gets dropped when he returns? I'll be very surprised if Schniederlin isn't first choice.Don't be silly mate he's the POTY so far.

I just don't think Davies can be dropped while he's playing so well.Gana, Schneiderlin and Barkley will be first choice. Give the kid a chance, let's not rush him into it.
The last midfielder like that I witnessed in a blue shirt was shades of the masterful Ball of Fire - all over the pitch - creative hard in the tackle for his size - his goal was sublime he finished it like his Uncle Alan Whittle -
high praise indeed to think he is 18 thats why I put him near Bally he did that week in week out so any youngster wanting to know what Alan Ball was like that was Davis yesterday, but he did it nearly every game, was so arrogant he could beat a man and sit on the ball, he made time as it meant nothing to him as he knew he was better than anyone as he was so quick, and fiery -
Tom Davis in his wonder goal slipped over, and got back up it was because he had the pace, to have that time - to run City ragged - I can only say it fetched back glimpses of the best box to box midfielder I ever seen in a Blue shirt - Alan Ball - Tom Davis came very close to him yesterday at such a young age - when I was young you went to see Ball , as you knew he was nearly always going to turn it on - early days , but this lad looks a gem!
A future captain one would hope?I wanted to say something similar.
He has that Alan Ball persona about him. All action, non-stop and influencing the game around him.
If we are on the theme of assessing his attributes in a hyperbolic fashion, I think he should be made captain once Jags has gone.
I know it sounds a bit mad but Arsenal made Adams and Fabregas captain at 18 and they along with the teams they led, did pretty well.
He seems like the kind of player that makes the others around him raise their game and that to me is the real essence of a great captain.
He could be a flash in the pan but I don't get the same vibe off him that I had from say, Rodwell or even Barkley for that matter.
Lets's not forget he's only 18 though. Some of that fearlessness might get coached out of him and he will do something cocky or careless that will cost us. He will also have bad games or even some loss of form but we have to support him and hope he fulfils all his dreams with Everton.
